Could be shoes

But it's only a link

This will be quick and short. Ish. First, a new link, then the story. aquillun.space/reviews#shoes

I realized a bit ago that you really do have to scroll a ways to get to the shoe review. This was on my phone, which I rarely use to come here. In fact, I don't visit my own site too often, since I'm the one creating it. So, here's a direct link if you want.

The more important question is why was I using my phone. I'm going to call it an accidental text. I reviewed the area code first, Canada. Eh, not too bad and the number didn't show on normal scam number sites.

And, the reason for the text was to inquire about returning a pair of shoes. Yes, that's the real reason I just didn't dismiss it. Shoes. So, sorry, Diane in California, you had the wrong number. Or the right one, we'll see.

So, after being polite and stating that she could drive down and return the shoes in Texas, there was some interaction. Then I sent the link to my reviews. And found getting to shoes was just too much scrolling.

I'll modify some other pages, but first, shoes.

No, I haven't ordered replacement shoes yet, aside from the really bad ones I returned. I'm really not sure how people walk on ropes, but I'm sure they don't like the feeling of a rope in their shoe.

I will be searching for another hands-free brand, just to expand a bit. I may return them to Texas, or California, or Quebec. We'll see which way the mail truck turns, but most likely to the nearest land fill. Which is okay, the shoes really do get to go back home.

And, since I'm rambling anyway, I had a short interaction with a modern hippie about recycling. Apparently what I tossed in the recycling bin wasn't recyclable. Plastic cup. Wrong type apparently. So, the big question really is, what isn't recyclable? I know this answer well. Really, nothing. If you really wanted, anything could be recycled into something else. If you ignore cost and plastic degradation. Something that has changed is the availability of information on how much plastic isn't recyclable, or at least is stated to be so. The reason is split between a minor problem in that the plastic degrades to be useful and the real problem of the plastic not being economically feasible to recycle.

Same with other items. For some reason, no metals can go in my town's recycling bin. Metal recycles nicely. Always has. So does wood, leaves, and grass clippings. All land fill. You know why.

Shoes used to be wear out the sole and just get a new one installed. I'd like that. Much better than trimming a new tree limb.
