Let's Think

I think it goes about....here

First things first (aquillun.space/military-career#some-thoughts)

I had already written the stuff below, so I hope you come back up here and read this part. The section of this website had non-functional links. I've fixed some, but definitely not all the links. It's likely this was when I was transferred from Zyro to Hostinger, but it was the first time that I'd looked at links.

Don't expect all the blog links to magically work. I'll likely not fix them anytime soon, but I'm going to trod through a few pages and fix some here and there. Now, back to your regularly scheduled blog:

I do love how this human brain works sometimes. The memories exist, but they remain hidden until they are triggered by some random event. The smell of freshly baked something or a fresh rain. The taste of a rare treat. The sound in the atmosphere. A clerk poorly bagging groceries.

One of those excited a neuron today. And, don't worry, the remainder of my memories are nice and safe in......where ever gods and dragons store memories. I can't really explain it. It just is. I don't have limitless, or controlled, access while I'm here. Or, maybe this memory was there and brought here by that same it-just-is mechanism. I don't wonder, I just let it work.

You may have had a thought about the poorly bagged groceries. This seems to be more and more prevalent. I would say it was when this horrid state said plastic bags are bad. Spoiler, they aren't. You can find that around here somewhere. I was going to say communist state, but the states I've traveled to that boast about being communist willingly give you plastic bags for free when you shop in their state. I should say country to prevent confusing certain people. But, I won't.

I have noticed the current grocers do have more issues using plastic bags and are very slow. If they're trying to make a point, it is rather dull. And I don't believe they have the fortitude to make such a point. There's something about that around here, though not directed necessarily at grocers. But the same applies.

If you're wondering, yes I do buy and bring my own plastic bags. It's much cheaper than the fascist state charges, again, something about that on here somewhere, and I don't like those expensive plastic or cloth ones that retain whatever bacteria was living on your previous haul. Yes, you should wash them. But I'm sure a couple washes and you're buying new bags. I will use boxes or plastic totes as well, but only in the lazy places that won't put your groceries into any sort of order. I don't think I've said anything here about that. And it's unfortunate my wife likes that store.

I shouldn't pick on grocers, many places are seeing a degradation of skill. I don't believe it has to do with capability. More about desire. The desire to excel. The desire to be the best. The competitive edge.

Something you'd learn if you'd paid attention to evolutionary theory.

Foreshadowing? Probably.
