There are many times in life you will be cheated. Most of the time when money is involved, but sometimes when law is involved.

At the time is rarely the time to correct that cheat. From a law perspective, don't get in a dispute with the police officer. Wait for court. Cool your head, gather your evidence, then let the court decide. Cooler heads.

Money wise it really depends. If you're dealing with a large corporation, know that they really do intend to charge the correct amount, regardless of how those you deal with initially think. If it's important, like saving your food, pay the price then deal with the aftermath the next day. You'll usually get what you want, as long as it's reasonable. If I had walked out yesterday, I would have lost another hour going somewhere else, and may not have found something worth while. Keep that in mind.

If I had tried to rectify the price yesterday, I would have spent more time and thrown mud in the eye of a few people. It's better they face that embarrassment in a more private setting. If it was something I was going to get for later, and didn't need quickly, I may have sat and talked with a manager then. As long as everyone was cool in the head. But, that wasn't the case yesterday.

Today. All is as it should be.
