Paths

It's been a few days since I've been here. You would think taking a couple months away from the forty hour grind you humans have created would have led to more time here. It does not.

It was certainly a nice break from that routine, mainly due to my Earth-son's current age. He is remembering faces better, and more curious about the world around him. It seems this changed from sleeping one night. The day before, he barely cared about anyone but mommy. Then, excitement for the other people in mommy's life.

Grocery shopping when from him just staring at the ceiling, to actively looking at the people and objects on the shelves. Even recognizing some of the items that are also in our house.

I once worked, on Earth, with someone that said babies are born without a soul. The soul shows up after a certain amount of time, and that's when they develop a personality.

Of course, it was also said that some people have no soul, and you can see that in their eyes. That is something I see. Some eyes look like voids, others look alive. Is it a soul, or a piece of computer code. Or something else completely.

But for now, I'm going to enjoy a conveniently packaged anti-thirst juice. Then sleep with whatever dream shows itself. (aquillun.space/castle#walking-the-path)
