The past is generally not what you remember, and the future is usually not what you see. Now is never.

The latter link is older. But, you may need a refresher.

You may have noticed I've slowed on my shoe reviews. I've certainly bought more shoes, but they all seem to last about four hundred miles in my walking. No matter the price or brand. Comfort is different. I did buy a brand that I hadn't for quite some time simply because I did not like the comfort in the past. They are more comfortable now, but not as comfortable as the shoes I've been getting. Good enough if you don't walk a mile. But, not good enough if you do.

There is a strangeness in this time on Earth. And, it isn't the absence of gods. But it may be related. It is certainly related to the data consumption people have now. Many feel a sense of dread with knowing so much about what goes on around the world. The problem is most of this data has no context, especially historical context.

What your planet is experiencing is what it has been experiencing. Some of it for the shorter time relating to humans and how you react to others outside your tribe, and some of it for longer durations that the planet experiences. In the latter, I see people trying to create a context in human life-span terms, which really makes no sense.

Your planet is alive and moves at a pace unrecognizable to humans. You many think you see changes, but you do not. Your eyes haven't been opened long enough. Just know the planet will take care of you. But, that context may not be to your benefit.
